AMS had the opportunity to play a brand-new venue on Saturday night. Merlot On The Water in Broadbrook, Connecticut. Formally the Knights of Columbus, this historic building overlooks a beautiful lake and is located in a very quiet country setting. While this not a large venue, it is perfect for any function with less than 125 people. The food, prepared by Chef Carl, was absolutely amazing. We were also very surprised to find that the event coordinator, who was working side-by-side the service employees, was actually Victoria, the owner of the venue. Rarely do we see such hands-on commitment from owners of venues. In fact, if memory serves correctly this is the first venue owner we have ever met at an event.
Christopher and Alexandria’s wedding went off without a hitch. Our big light show looked wonderful in the room and we up washed with green and purple lights which complemented the tablesettings and chair covers. Photography was done by David’s Bridal and the tables and placesettings were done by the bride and groom’s family.
We look forward to our next event at Merlot On The Water in Broadbrook, Connecticut and we recommend it to anyone looking to create the perfect event at a very reasonable price.
